Our team

Ken Fairclough went to a Secondary Modern School and left at fifteen with no qualifications.

After working in industry for almost thirty years he decided to embark on a course of home study, followed by a part time university course, and became a Solicitor in November 1999. He worked as a Legal Executive for 7 years prior to qualifying as a Solicitor and therefore has over 20 years experience of specialising as a personal injury lawyer.

Ken has worked for large personal injury lawyers before founding Faircloughs Solicitors over 21 years ago. He deals with all accidents at work supermarket slipping and tripping cases. He also has been involved in pursuing lifting accidents and sadly, he has dealt with fatal accidents. He has a wealth of experience and knowledge in claims such as brain injury claims, industrial accident claims, motorcycle claims, spinal injury claims and claims for long term care deriving from such incidents.

You can be confident when you meet Ken that you are talking to a person who understands the industrial environment, unlike the majority of solicitors you will meet. He is also from a working class background so can appreciate the problems faced by ordinary people.

Our team

Leanne. I work part time at our Golborne office and like the community atmosphere Golborne has to offer. I have been with Faircloughs for 3 years but I have 8 years’ experience working in a solicitors office. I enjoy being front of house, meeting new people and being their first point of contact.

I have two children aged 12 and 9. We enjoy family walks to local nature spots and playing a range of board games. I am also teaching them both to cook hearty family meals.

I look forward to meeting some new friendly faces from Golborne and surrounding areas and hope we can help you successfully claim the compensation you are entitled to.

Our team

Eileen has worked in the UK and overseas. During this time she has worked in finance, sales and education. The thread which runs through all her previous positions is, the customer comes first.

Upon completion of her education she took up a position with the Nat West Bank. She remained with this company until 1997 at which time she left England for New Zealand then some years later Australia. Eventually, Eileen took up a position with the University of Queensland Business School. This provided an opportunity for further study and she completed her degree in Business in 2014.

After 40 years of working with and for the general public Eileen is very aware that there is a need to listen to what the client’s wants and needs are rather than making assumptions. Having bought, sold and packed up an entire house on more than one occasion she appreciates the stresses and strains a move may cause a family/relationship. With this in mind she regards it as part of her job to do everything she can to ease any problems.

Eileen has always engaged with the community in which she lives. She has two daughters. When they were young she took up the role of Guide Leader for a pack of Rainbows and has been a regular member of the PTA in their schools.

Our team

Kathleen. Having worked for many large retail companies in a managerial capacity she has developed excellent customer service skills. Communication skills have always been one of her strengths along with her honesty and integrity. She has a commitment to Faircloughs Solicitors and realises its success is dependent on the total satisfaction of its clients.

After years of working in challenging environments Kathleen has learnt it is important to listen to what the client has to say.

There is not a lot of time left in Kathleen’s life for interests but she manages to take time out to enjoy dog walking, interior design, the theatre and travel.
